..saw them at The Mick Jagger Centre in Dartford last week.

Hope the crowd there is more up for it than at Dartford...there was a 10 yard gap between most of the crowd and the stage...a kind of mosh void...not because of a security barrier just cos people didn't fancy being at the front for whatever reason.

odd.

I've Completely lost Interest in bands like The Beat and Bad Manners because of the lack of new material and the same set list year in year out. at least Madness and The Selecter feel new recordings are important to the fans. and I hope The Specials and The Spatial AKA share the same views. I admire The Selecter for pushing the boat out by Releasing their new album on Vinyl. "Think About That" Wink Smile

I agree with Sugarman about The Beat and Bad Manners. I haven't seen Bad Manners for 3 or 4 years - but Roger's Beat bore me now. I don't like feeling that way, but I do.

I understand what some of you are saying about new material but unfortunately a lot of the bands I like have none.
Yes it would be great if they did but I'm not going to ditch them cos they haven't.

I just like to go out and listen to the music I like and if that means listening to the same songs over and over then so be it. Wink

Live music is brilliant whether it turns out to be the same tracks or not.
New material ... obviously that is a bonus.
