THE CAROLOREGIANS - FAT IS BACK ALBUM UK TOUR
Introducing the deep fried funk-dipped reggae sounds of The Caroloregians...

Fronted by the New Orleans soul stylings of Matt Hardison and backed by a boss reggae section, in one almighty soundclash of pounding rhythm & soul vs finger-licking funkified reggae. Drawing inspiration from musical cousins The Meters & The Upsetters, The Caroloregians, who hail from Belgium, burst onto the European scene 4 years ago with dramatic effect. They soon became the choice backing band for touring Jamaican legends: Ken Boothe, Alton Ellis, The Pioneers, Rico Rodriguez MBE, Pat Kelly, Doreen Shaffer and most recently superbly backed Dave & Ansel Collins on their first show since the 1970's at The London Intl Ska Festival.

It is, however, with their own electrifying show & songs where The Caroloregians truly excel. We are delighted to annouce The Caroloregians will be returning to the UK in March'12 to promote their album 'Fat Is Back'.

These are new to me but I love the sound of the Youtube stuff that Liam posted.

Grover Records seem to be making a bit of a comeback. I saw something about them a couple of weeks ago on Willo's facebook and it's first I'd seen or heard of them for some years.

She swung her head back and began to shout at me. She was so furious that her spit was landing in my beer. I was not aware that she is a vegetarian, and I quickly cancelled my Chicken Madras order in the restaurant, and ordered a prawn salad in a Deep South American accent.

I saw them play in Deutschland a couple of years ago. They do like their reggae and rocksteady on the Continent, maaan.

Confused

The label has been in active business since 1993.
