Bob The Bloody Builder, Mr.Blobby, anything Crap Factor or'Pop Stars!!'

Black Lace also need to take a long hard look at themselves for what they've generated in the name of 'popular music.'

30 odd years of THE SPECIALS in name, but what if their recording career had lasted as long?

Would their musical style had remained similar, or would they have meandered into different genres and found another route?

I personally would've loved a real heavy DUB reggae type vibe, with a high energy contrast similar to The RUTS.

However could we have seen a complete slide from grace into a masinstream pop arena?

Probably been discussed before, sorry if I missed it, but what would you have liked to have seen over the past 30 years?

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPPPS sHOULD BE NEW TOPIC!?

After 30 years at the top and with Simon Cowell running the show they would have evolved into the 'Spatial Fund Boy 7 AKA' churning out pop reggae and acid jazz whilst doing battle with JLS and One Direction for the UK top spot. Wink

Either that - or they would now be Madness Shocked

I must stop eating cheese these nightmares are getting worse.

not counting groups that dont play their own instruments i would proffer go west, living in a box, duran duran, wang chung, transvision vamp, Tonite, Dave Dee dozy beaky mick and titch, mike and the mechanics, tpau and florence and the machine as having almost no redeeming qualities.

the most lauded compared to their only ok musical achievements are oasis, ultravox and razorlite.
