Selecter Thurs 07 March 13 and SLF Fri 15 March 13, both Newcastle Carling Academy. Would have been the Cockney Rejects on Sat 23 March 13 at the same place, sadly tour has been cancelled. _________________ it's up to you what you really wanna do |

Yeah, Jake Burns lived in Newcastle for several years during the 80s and 90s. He also had a season ticket for NUFC, so they always get a full house and great reception up here. Should be a good night out! _________________ it's up to you what you really wanna do |

Was a great night (Fingers), surprise just how well they still play the old stuff. Packed house as well. Did a good cover of Ruts 'Staring At The Rude Boys' too. Tudor Pole was a good opener, played some old rock n' roll, Who Killed Bambi and Swords Of A Thousand Men. Curry before the gig, the perfect night!
The Selecter were really good too, got Pauline to sign my ticket, treasured momento now. Skanked till I dropped, catch em if they play near you...
Bad Manners at Newcastle Hoults Yard on June 21st will be the next gig, incidentally. Just waiting for the Beat to play here, to round off the year in style. _________________ it's up to you what you really wanna do |

I'm off to see SLF tonight at the Academy in Bristol!
Ed Tudor Pole and The Men They Couldn't Hang as support, should be a blast |
