I know we don't generally chat about football on the forum but because it's Coventry I thought it would be allowed

Very sad.....result of a disastrous deal when they moved in there. As I understand they get zero matchday revenue (except ticket sales) and pay rent on the stadium, no way it could work.

Highfield Road used to be a great day out from London, quick chug up from Euston, couple in the Rocket then on to a few others. That new place looks fine and dandy but middle of nowhere.

Hope they can sort something out. CCFC is a proper club, be a real shame to see them fold.

Really sad for Coventry's fans, I know how they feel as I support Portsmouth.

We're hoping to be a fans-owned club very soon and i'm one of the couple of thousand fans that have paid £1,000 to help buy the club.

Happy we won today though. Cool

The real disaster is the owners of ccfc not the owners of the ricoh. the deal done by the owners sisu was stupid. we are left supporting the leeches that are sisu over the owners of the stadium. i am not supporting the council or the higgs trust who own the stadium between them but they depend on the football club while sisu do not give a toss they only see the club as a product to buy and sell for a profit. i,m going to lie down

..as a Plymouth fan I know what its like going through the heartache of your club "nearly" folding. Hopefully something gets sorted to save a "proper" football club. I can remember, as a child in the 70's, being taken to Coventry for birthday / xmas treats to see the likes of Spurs, Liverpool and Leeds. Growing up in Cornwall Coventry was one our nearest Division 1 sides!!
