I just analyzed The Specials at Norwich (30/10/2014)
I really like the new arrangements on some of the songs and not so much on others. Do Nothing, Man at C & A and Why? were easily the best songs performed, though Guns of Navarone was better than usual
International Jet Set was also rather good though a British airways intro would have been more fitting and faithful to the original?
I attended the Dublin gig after drinking 17 pints, I was missing Roddy, Neville and I was expecting to hear something new or different and I didn't so all these things took affect and basically ruined my night and to make matters worse I went to the wrong after show party
To be honest I don't really like the random Set list idea because their is no beginning or ending to the set?
Anyway after listening to the Norwich CD and knowing what the set list is and the running order helped me alot and I could hear the new arrangements that I couldn't hear in Dublin because I was to P***** off over Roddy, Neville and other things.
I thought it was very nice of Brad to say what he did at the end of the interview below, a bit of a change is indeed needed? ?
