I got the DVD out of Sainsburys a couple of years back as part of a CD+DVD set (the CDs was a greatest hits not Madstock). I wonder if this DVD is the same.

Not that bothered about the CDs...but watching it brings back memories of one of the best days out ever (I went the first day). Was very moody at times in the afternoon but the main show was worth the wait.

An earthquake is errupting - in Finsbury Park apparently. Of course it was a "one-off never to be repeated".....until the next day and then the next 23 years and counting (not complaining).

Absolutely mental day that was. It would kill me now, I'd never survive.

I bought a box set which had various Madness DVDs, etc (including the Ben Elton TV pilot), a year or so back. If this is the same copy that was in that, it is of awful quality. It has a strange scanning problem which makes it look all jaggy. Like a juddery YouTube video...

This is the set I got a while back (£12 in Sainsburys at the time) - got it purely for the DVD as the CDs I already had/have everything in about 4 different formats!

The DVD quality is good, decent enough for me not to buy it again, but I am curious if the October version is the same. I'm sure I got an official Madsctock 1992 CD not long after the event (and a VHS)...can't find either though.

Funny they left Land Of Hope & Glory, Razor Blade Alley, and Take It Or Leave It off the original DVD; they were three of the four best tracks on the original VHS, along with Close Escape, in my humble opinion.
