Harry - You have chosen a clip there that doesn't feature Neville
I think The Specials reformation post Neville is always going to be lacking a little something.
Just got back from a Terry Hall DJ set in my town, he signed 3 pictures for me in-between flipping discs - cheers Terry _________________ Bernie Rhodes Knows - Dont Argue

- really love the "Dance Craze" version - thanks for listing - as for the heated debate -The Specials version always out performs Blur for me - I think Terry's voice is even better to listen to/and more established and interpretive.
Perhaps I'm older as well- so The Specials versions are inline with aging as Terry once insouciant and dismissive seems just genuinely more creased by life - which is a reflection of me! misery loves company!
I know this because I have a big headache from listening to all the reformed Specials versions I could find _________________ marigold |

I had forgotten how good that version of Nite Klub was. Not that it was needed, but Terry offers up a reminder that The Specials were indeed the sum of their various parts.
Is that an old style bottle of Lucozade setting on Jerry's keyboards at 0.24? The glass ones that had the sheet of orange cellophane wrapped around them? _________________ Richard Eddington is innocent.

I like Blur's version and I hear The Specials influence in a few of their songs. But it lacks that certain 'thing' Brad gave to it.
Lucozade always reminds me of being at home, feigning illness to avoid school and watching For Schools and Colleges on tv, ironically. Happy days. _________________ Piano music page on Facebook:

It's funny how for years Lucazade was regarded as some sort of elixir of life, when infact all it was huges amounts of sugar. No hospital bedside cabinet was complete without Lucazade and a bunch of grapes. Now in my local hospital you are not permitted to bring either into the building. The Lucozade is banned for sending blood sugar levels into orbit and the grapes are classed as perishable food. _________________ Richard Eddington is innocent.

Good points. I suppose it shows there's been some advances in medical science since 1975 at least.
I'm sure there's a link to Terry and Blur in all this but I'll be honest, I haven't found it yet. _________________ Piano music page on Facebook:

Another myth around Lucozade was the slogan 'Lucozade - Aids Recovery'.
I think they stopped using that in the mid eighties.
Imani - a link between Terry Hall, Blur and Lucozade - Pop (music)? _________________ Bernie Rhodes Knows - Dont Argue |
