Ex Talking Heads frontman and Fun Boy 3 producer David Byrne has "curated a playlist"
I like most of the protest songs he's picked. As you'd expect Ghost Town is included...

Recently saw an interview with Joe Jackson from May this year. Along with Elvis Costello, The Clash and others, he was initially dubbed as 'an angry young man' by the press. But it's interesting to hear him recall a conversation he had on this subject with Joe Strummer. (4.08 to about 5.00)
