That lady is missing one of the two reasons for lockdown and they are to stop people catching covid and to stop people spreading it. She obviously doesn't care about the former, but it speaks volumes about her that she doesn't care about the latter.

How difficult is this for some people to grasp?

Unfortunately it seems too difficult for some people to grasp and accept.

The guy at the start of the clip is a great advertisement of why people should be wearing masks too, as he clearly lets a large spit come from his mouth.

That nothing compared to the volume of shite that comes out of his mouth.

I made the mistake of watching one of that guy's videos. Now YouTube repeatedly suggests his videos to me. Going by the number of videos he posts he obviously has way too much free time on his hands. What a tosser.

From September 28th. A former professor of pathology has told talkRADIO the latest coronavirus measures are "completely disproportionate," because "we have politicians doing amateur science, and scientists doing amateur politics. Mix the two together and it's a pretty awful brew."

Dr John Lee, a former NHS consultant pathologist, spoke to Julia Hartley-Brewer over the latest lockdowns and measures introduced by the Government.

With a name like 'Dr John Lee', I suppose there was a good chance of him talking sense. Wink

Please go about your daily business without a care in the world and feel free to infect or get infected by whoever you want. That's obviously your ultimate goal.

A ten minute snippet of a recent debate on RTE (Ireland's national television), featuring Dr John Lee. No doubt it is applicable to other parts of the world.

… and see if you can do that without constantly inflicting your views on an audience that judging by the amount of support your posts are getting - don't appear to share your view.

Excellent interview from last week with Ivor Cummins on the Triggernometry channel, debunking what he calls the "pie in the sky" approach of Ferguson.

Keep them coming Imani! I'm enjoying them a lot. They're definitely making me reconsider my position on this. I'm a big fan of Triggernometry too.

Great interview isn't it, Wally? He presents the information in a very balanced and thorough way. Yes, I like what Triggernometry do, a friend introduced me to them a couple of months back.

By contrast, with only a few exceptions, the politicians have been mostly silent, not even raising fair questions. And as for "the opposition"... Surprised

Businessman Simon Dolan has said the aim of his lockdown legal challenge is to ensure the government never imposes such restrictions again.

Speaking with talkRADIO’s Ian Collins (Oct 30th), the multimillionaire said: “They’ve used the public health down to lock us down, destroy the businesses…and what we’re saying is: You can’t do this.”

Mr Dolan has taken his case to the Court of Appeal after a High Court judge refused permission for a full hearing of his challenge in July.

(A somewhat waffling MP, but it goes with the territory.)

A Conservative MP has told talkRADIO he believes there are "lies, damn lies and Covid statistics," adding that "It seems to be you can prove anything with a Covid statistic."

Speaking to Julia Hartley-Brewer, Peter Bone said the government is "using selective ones to prove their case."

“We’re not getting a balanced range of different statistics so that you can make a balanced decision on what’s the right thing to do."

"We don’t know if we’re going to kill more people by voting for the regulation or against it."

“If we haven’t got the facts to look at, maybe they haven’t got a case for these restrictions.”

Bone was one of 34 MPs that voted against the current lockdown which will shut pubs, "non-essential" shops and hairdressers in England, ban social gatherings and "non-essential" travel, and order people to stay at home.

The government won the vote by 516 to 39, a majority of 477 that mostly comprised of both Tory loyalists and Labour MPs.

In the second hour of the Richie Allen Show (Tuesday 10th November), there's an interview with Marianne Fitzgerald, who has worked as an Enhanced Care Support Worker at a hospital in Coventry.

She tells Richie that her hospital prepared the staff for a massive influx of Covid patients back in March, but that it never happened. Marianne presents a fascinating insight into what working on the frontline really means. She talks about the difficulty of wearing a mask, visor and goggles for hours on end and how confusing this was for elderly patients who were suffering as a result of being isolated from their families.

Starts around 1 hr 2 mins in.

(Applicable to other affected regions besides the USA. It's a VERY long piece, though I'm all in favour of research that covers the topic fully and truthfully - something Ferguson clearly failed to do. If you prefer to take your information on the subject from our trusty governmental institutions and other quick-'fix' soundbytes, then read no further.)

'An Evidence Based Scientific Analysis of Why Masks are Ineffective, Unnecessary, and Harmful' by Dr Jim Meehan (Oct 10, 2020)

BACKGROUND OF THE AUTHOR: Jim Meehan, MD is an ophthalmologist and preventive medicine specialist with over 20 years of experience and advanced training in immunology, inflammation, and infectious disease. He has performed well over 10,000 surgical procedures. His research experience includes investigating associations between military vaccinations and Gulf War Syndrome. Dr. Meehan is also trained in internal medicine, addiction medicine, endocrinology, integrative medicine, functional medicine, and nutrition.

Dr. Meehan is a former editor of the medical journal, “Ocular Immunology and Inflammation.” Dr. Meehan has peer-reviewed thousands of medical research studies. With this experience and expertise, Dr. Meehan has dedicated his career to protecting his patients and the public from the fraud, corruption, and pseudoscience so often used by agents and agencies whose motives and interests have resulted in American medicine and pharmaceutical drugs becoming the third leading cause of death in the United States.

KEY POINTS:

Decades of the highest-level scientific evidence (meta-analyses of multiple randomized controlled trials) overwhelmingly conclude that medical masks are ineffective at preventing the transmission of respiratory viruses, including SAR-CoV-2.

Those arguing for masks are relying on low-level evidence (observational retrospective trials and mechanistic theories), none of which are powered to counter the evidence, arguments, and risks of mask mandates.

The majority of the population is at very low to almost no risk of severe or lethal disease from CoVID-19. Children are at an extraordinarily low risk of dying from CoVID-19. Based on CDC published data, 99.99815% of children that contract CoVID-19 survive.

Transmission of SARS-CoV-2 among children in schools and daycares is very rare.

Masks worn properly are well documented to cause harm to their wearers.
Masks worn improperly, re-used, or contaminated are dangerous.

Any reasonable risk to benefit analysis of medical masks concludes that the risks overwhelmingly outweigh the benefits.

Children are at imminent risk of harm from mask mandates.

Limerick GP Dr Pat Morrissey chose to speak out against the Irish government's measures. What was the response from his bosses and work colleagues?

If you like to clap your hands and bang your pans outside your gaff of a Thursday evening, you might prefer to skip this one. Saying that, I've noticed that little ritual seems to have stopped. Surprised

LINX - You're Lying

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_tHbx2ZVxcA

You tell me -- you're trying
To help me -- but you're lying
I give you -- what you ask for
It still seems -- that you want more
Decisions -- always have to wait
Your timing -- why is it always late?
My chances -- fade before my eyes
I'm hounded -- by a pack of lies

[Chorus]
You say you care enough to help me up -- you're lying
You say your sacrificing never stops -- you're lying
You say without you I am gonna flop -- you're lying
When will your lying stop?

[Verse 2]
Use me -- every way you could
You told me -- it was for my own good
Tell me -- don't feel downhearted
I'm worse off -- than when we started
You want me -- at your beck and call
It's your way -- or no way at all
Your promise -- doesn't mean a thing
My patience -- has come to an end

[Chorus]

[Verse 3]
You're out of -- excuses
To go on -- would be useless
'Cause I don't -- I don't believe your story
You're lying -- but you'll be sorry

[Chorus]

[Outro]
Can't tell the truth can't tell the truth no
You can't tell the truth you can't tell the truth no

'Two weeks to flatten the curve', huh? More clarity from Ivor Cummins.

May be challenging viewing for anyone itching to bang pans on Thursdays (again), or even upload dance routines to TikTok ("Pan's People Reborn"?) Surprised
