I like "Sonny & His Sister", I love the 2nd FB3 album, the first Colourfield L.P esp "Take", I also like "The Lunatics" and "Telephone Always Rings" plus "No No No", and "I Drew A Lemon"

(Aside from cover versions)
What Terry stuff that came after Friday Night, Saturday Morning has a place in your heart?

For some reason I liked Thinking of You by The Colourfield. 'Sense' is a great track , but other than that I had little of no interest in Mr Hall's solo stuff. I should make the effort because there does seem to be some good stuff. _________________ Richard Eddington is innocent.

I love everything you have mentioned Harry. I bought Virgins and Philistines on vinyl when it was released. I only recently got the Cherry Red CD reissue of Virgins and Philistines, and had forgotten just how good it is.
I thought the first single, The Colour Field, was brilliant from the first time I heard it when they were live on The Tube.
Ballad of a Landlord and Forever J (she kisses me through gritted teeth) have always been stand out tracks for me.
I am surprised Waiting has never been reissued. I once played Tunnel of Love twice in a row on a pirate radio show. It is just sublime. |

Waiting (except The Pressure of Life) add in Lunatics, Telephone and Alone from the debut album and that's a decent FB3 album
Colourfield - Things Could Be Beautiful, Cruel Circus and She + the 3 singles off the 1st album that if memory serves all use the term 'Beatnik Love Affair'
Missing and Happy Families from Terry Blair and Anoushka (very poppy album with 1 or 2 other not bad songs).
Wise Guy is the best Vegas song for me - She, Possessed and Walk Into the Wind also decent enough
A Roomful of Nothing and Moon on your Dress the best non singles on Laugh and Home respectively and Forever J, Chasing a Rainbow and Ballad of a Landlord all decent singles. _________________ It’s A Wonderful Life. It’s a wonderful film, but the more I watch it the more I want Potter to succeed. Not least when that lot up the road come out into the street every New Year’s Eve, drunk on Ptolemy’s hock, hugging each other and going “Hee-haw, hee-haw”… |

Yes, I agree Possessed and the cover of She (by Vegas) were both decent efforts. The 2nd Colourfield album was nowhere near as good as the first one (wrong producer, wrong musicians etc). I thought Ultra Modern Nursery Rhymes was a bit poor. _________________ I got one art O'level it did nothing for me |
