I now like to dance like that bloke from The Swinging Cats.
I love skanking to 2 Tone and ska pop, I do the thrust to rocksteady and reggae, I like to go crazy to skinhead reggae instrumentals and I totally ignore that skacore sh*t !
The last time I heard a skacore track at a venue, the teens were pogoing.
And you was pofacing

Not me. I just went to the other bar in the venue and had a chat with myself, then went home and listened to Spicy Roots. _________________ www.myspace.com/backdoorpromotions

From memory Raymond Carter was a 14 year old youngun from California - does that shed some light on this poll? He hasn't been on here for a while but I think from memory at the time he was trying to work out all the different types of ska that existed as at the time he thought Reel Big Fish were where it all started and then he started to delve deeper....haven't seen him on here for a while though. _________________ Enjoy yourself, it's later than you think

My Motto is "Dance Like Nobodys Watching"
I've 3 daughters who wet themselves every time I indulge in a bit of "Dad Dancing" but hey who gives a fcuk!

I have no idea what is the 'correct' dance for whatever sound, you dance, or ya don't I thought
Anyway - Mike does a damn good 'dance like yer dad' for 3 seconds while nobody's looking, if you ask him to, then he goes back to normal skanking like nothing's happened - it's magic! _________________ "The state of your life is nothing more than a reflection of your state of mind."
