Post subject: The Two Tone Story Book |

I would like to read the book “The Two Tone story by George Marshall, but it’s out of print. You can get a second hand version for about 35 dollars if you’re lucky. I won’t do that because I don’t use credit cards, but also I found a PDF of the book. I have no Ipad, but I got an old and second hand laptop.
To have an old fashion book version, that I would prefer.
A bookshop here in Amsterdam has got an “Espresso book machine” with which they can print books in minutes for € 12,50. They print books from a database, your own written books and books free of copyright, who are in the public domain. From the 12,50 the writer gets the share he’s entitled to.
So I informed, but the book isn’t in the public domain. So without written consent from the owner they don’t print it.
Does anybody know how to contact the writer George Marshall or the people who own the rights, if I could get permission to print the book and they get their share then everybody is happy.
Can someone help me with this? First of all it’s just fun to do this. But can you imagine returning from the concert in Amsterdam, with (maybe) a hangover, a good time and fresh copy of this book.
If that isn’t a peace of ska heaven.

Hi you all,
Finally had some time tell what happened.
I had contact with the honorable mister George Marshall and he said quote, After a lot of requests I am looking at reprinting The Two Tone Story this year, unquote."
He was interesting in the working of "printing on demand." So I informed him the best I could. Like telling him of the Espresso Book Machine in a London bookshop
So great news. We wait and see what happens.

I am also pleased to hear this news.
Top author is George Marshall. The Two Tone Story is a fantastic book, and over the years, I've read it a few times. It kind of calls me back to read it every so often. The new Madness book is a fab read, too. _________________ www.myspace.com/backdoorpromotions |

Hopefully George will update the book to include the reformation. It's a wonderful book, I must say. |
