The Specials euro road trip continued at the Vega venue in Copenhagen. Home to keyboardist Nikolaj Torp Larsen, no doubt he spent most of his time being a tour guide! The gig kicks off in what we all now know as Do The Dog ,the set list is pretty much cemented into peoples minds by now. It seems to take a good few numbers to enliven the danish contingent who wait til Nev introduces Monkey man to really get into the proceedings. Terry, of course, just as well known for his quotes and one liners as he is as the lead vocal in The Specials, raises a few laughs with a statement translated to the crowd by the obliging Nikolaj which stated " Today I went to the market and I thought that your bananas, mushrooms and asparagus were very expensive" - probably doesnt sound funny reading this text but on the live Abbey Road recording, its another classic Hall quote, totally off the wall and un- gig related.

The crowd are whipped up by Lynval Golding and Rat Race sounds bloody great, really good, and Jon Read's bongo playing can be heard clearly, new dimension on hearing the track with the clear Bongo sound live. Drew Stansalls sax solo on Hey Little Rich Girl has never better, rasping and funky and the arrangement of Stupid Marriage makes it a stand out track.
Roddy rolls into the ever menacing Concrete Jungle , after mentioning that Denmark had just got a labour government and no politician is to be trusted, and the song booms into its searing theme. Man at C & A - well what can I say- that song has always been a live highlight, before Message to you Rudy really brings the crowd alive and the house down.

Nite Klub is always fantastic, and the little instrumenttal break added to the live version sees great guitar work between Lyn & Rod and now the crowd is really going for it but Little Bitch takes the audience into the stratosphere, what a tune! Terry spitting venom into the lyrics, and Too Much Too Young is sounding faster and better. Tim Smart's solo in Ghost Town , for me, is as haunting as Rico's, that track live is still so eerie and the despair it talks about is conducted to the crowd perfectly. The show culminates with Youre Wondering Now, and everyone goes home happy.

Another top knotch Abbey Road Live Here Now recording and another official bootleg.
