Just managed to get hold of this on DVD - much thanks to one amazing forum member Very Happy

Watched it last night - twice!! and was grinning from ear to ear from start to finish. I could not take my eyes off it for fear of missing a second of what I feel was a truely amazing, energetic and 'happy' performance.

This was the set that made me fall in love with The Specials all over again so it will always be important to me. When I watched this on TV in 2009 it was like having 'forgotten' or neglected something important to you for a while and then discovering it all over again and remembering how much it meant to you.....I was buzzin for days.

Anyway - I've not seen/read all that much on people's perspective of that set - particulary the band's, I'm sure there's stuff out there but have you guys got any stories?? Were any of you there? Please share folks Cool

It was very exciting for me to see The Specials live on tv in 2009. Obviously, I'd seen archive footage of them live but watching their Glastonbury performance was amazing. I'd already seen them live in the May in Brixton so I knew what to expect but it was great having my mates texting me as it was being broadcast telling me how much they were enjoying it.

I danced 'round my living room to the whole set (well apart from 'Little Bitch' which was edited from the tv broadcast - it was shown with a few minutes time delay so not quite live) and I hadn't even had a drink. They were bloody great at Glastonbury as were Madness and I wish I was there.

The Specials at Glastonbury were great but I don't like festivals all that flag waving drives me mad, so I listen to the Audio version which includes Little Bitch as an added bonus Smile

I love that Glasto footage Jett, I think the BBC did a good job of filming it. I have to agree I prefer it to the Wolves live gig which I have saved on Sky (never bought the DVD....shhhhh!!!).

I grinned and grinned all Sat night as I haven't seen the whole set since it was on originally. Video'd it but then tape bust n it was before we got Sky etc so been waiting to get my hands on it.

Still no one reporting having been there...............
