Depends on what your definition of 'band' is. If we are to include pointless acts such as One Direction then surely they must be one of the worst? I ain't no fan of Def Leppard but at least they played their instruments, didn't come out of X Factor and have lasted a little longer than 5 minutes.

the most overated band...

ive always thought that like religion and politics, 2 subjects to avoid at dinner partys, they should add music to that list...
all down to personal choice...

I know it's all about opinion but can't have them anywhere near the overrated list. 2 brilliant talents that sometimes made some mediocre songs that the 80's tended to churn out but still made some classic music.

Forgetting some of the recent manufactured tv bands I would have to plump for U2 - too much shit produced that cannot make up for a few good tracks
