I like it, Hugh. I often listen to lounge style jazz and instrumental muzak anthems, especially when I'm feeling eccentric. I usually put some tunes on, put a bucket on my head and sit down on the sofa, and let the rhythms take me elsewhere.

Thank you for posting the tune. It sent me merrily crazy and I really enjoyed listening to it. Very Happy

I have never seen the 7" for sale. I saw the 12" on ebay once and with about an hour left I stuck on the minimum bid. I went to the cinema and when I got home someone had stuck another 50p on and got it![/quote]

I'm glad I'm missing the Christmas Time Again 7" and not the Blue Beat LP's Eat The Beat and Skinhead Luv-A-Fair.

I rarely search for Bad Manners these days because I have everything I've ever really wanted already in my collection Smile

Here's a copy that sold on eBay in 2012, I'm sure another copy will show up at some point if you keep checking eBay and other places on the net, Good Luck Smile

It sure does, Hugh.

I've got the festive single on 7" and 12", but the Sally Brown single was hard to get hold of. I only have that on a 12" white label.

Mangeire - it is impossible to find anywhere so I was already jealous. That was before I read about the Blue Summer jigsaw - now I have discovered yet another gap in my collection...

My 7 inch is still shrink wrapped with the jigsaw in it so I haven't even seen the complete jigsaw. I think magazine adverts at the time mentioned this limited edition jigsaw pack so I expected it wouldn't be too hard to get. However it does seem like very few were made, I've only ever seen the one copy which I was lucky enough to get my hands on. Hope you find it some day HarryJ!

There was a whole box of the Sally Brown 7 inches in the Merc on Carnaby Street at the time so that's where I got mine, it's a white label copy with '1,000 copies limited edition' scribbled on it. Maybe that's where they all ended up Confused

Blue Beat intended to release it as the follow up single to Skaville UK, but later changed their mind and released Gonna Get Along Without You Now, instead. My 12" copy has a proper sleeve with Sally Brown on the front cover and Buster on the back, but the actual record itself is a white label.

FatboyCliff and Jennie Mathias do the best version, if memory serves me correctly.

Is it just me, but I just get "500 Internal server error" when I click discography? Does the same on my phone.

I have everything mentioned so far apart from the Blue Summer Jigsaw & the My Boy Lollypop single, wouldn't want that though to be honest (nothing new).

I also have the white label Rude Boy Daddy Luther 12" Pop goes the Weasel on Blue Beat, shame it was never released.

Oh yeah, just remembered, I haven't got Skinhead Luv Affair LP anymore, lent it to a mate, and his then girlfriend blatantly stole it when she moved back to Wales Evil or Very Mad

I'm having the same problem with the discography page, I had the Bad Manners Jigsaw in my hand in London some years ago, I didn't buy it because I already had the 7" and I just wasn't interested in the Jigsaw Smile

The 7 inch does have the same sleeve as well (not too suprisingly! ) Smile

Yeah, to be honest, unless it was dirt cheap I probably wouldn't buy it either.
Cool

I've got it on a 7" white label. I prefer the flipside, Suzie Don't Cry. I also managed to get the Heavy Metal compilation and the Paradise album that Buster released at the time too. Both were released on the Blue Beat sub labels, Master Records and Spiritual House, but both albums have a Blue Beat catalogue number.

Various Artists : A Taste of Armageddon : BBSLP 003

Paradise : Designed In Heaven For Ideal Use On Earth : BBSLP 004

I also have the singles by Karess and The Billies too. The Billies record should of been a hit !
