I reckon I have 9 of those songs. So if Terry should want to come round mine for tea may I suggest he brings his own music?

That is not to say I haven't thoroughly enjoyed his radio show and the vast majority of the music he's played. Makes a pleasant change to be able to hear the nervousness in his voice between tracks compared to the ultra-confident look at me types one usually associates with radio.

Blimey I own 4 this week. I reckon Terry's worked out which Roches albums I own, even though I've not yet got round to listening to them all.

Reading that list is a bit spooky for me because I seem to listen to exactly the same things Terry does! There's only about 3 songs on those 6 lists I don't know really well.
I've never really connected with XTC but pretty much everything else is the sort of thing I play all the time or would put on a compilation CD for someone.

XTC is very much on the 'got' list for me. I think the reason why I'm lacking a lot of the more widely known songs is that I've never bought compilation albums. There have also been plenty of songs he's played that I have owned at one time or another and then sold during skint periods.

Have to say his is the only radio show in ages where if he's playing something I don't particularly like (such as The Jackson 5) I will carry on listening because I know he will play something I like straight after it. In the car on another station I'd have turned my CD on or turned the radio off.

Scott Walker - If You Go Away (Ne Me Quitte Pas) I'm surprised Terry didn't play this on his own show Smile

I like most of the music he plays but I wouldn't go out and buy any of it, though I have most of The Reggae songs on various compilations also Blondie, The Beach Boys, The Clash, Buzzcocks and Elvis Costello Smile

I always liked Sense Is Working Over Time and Making Plans For Nigel by XTC Smile
