This is from a gig I did last week at Impressions Gallery, Bradford. There's a 'Rock Against Racism' photography exhibition touring the country, and for its final date in Bradford, there was a night of live music. Songs: Ghost Town, Stand Down Margaret & Missing Words.

I really like these versions, it's refreshing to hear someone really RE-interpreting these tunes as opposed to simply RE-hashing the originals. One shows guile and skill, the other is stale and boring. Hats off to you Imani, I love the Ghost Town version. _________________ http://www.2-tone.info

- your piano interpretation is the best you always make me imagine an entire landscape soundtrack when you play Imani - thank you for all of these musical links/my Friday night on a rainy evening here - just lovely......
When are they going to write/film/stage play "The Story of The Specials" I know who can direct the music. _________________ marigold

Cheers Mary!
As for the stage play idea, I'd be interested to have a go - though I reckon there'll be a couple of people I'd have to queue behind to get the gig.
