This release should be interesting, I hope they use tracks from all 4 Dexys albums and just the first?
The All-stars follow up their Studio One ska takes on 2 Tone and the Rolling Stones with their third studio album – an unbeatable take on Dexys Midnight Runners, circa. 1960′s Kingston, JA

Sounds good Paul - don't know if songs from albums 3 and 4 will work as well as the first 2. Either way, it's an album I'll be getting. The biggest problem for me is that they won't cover every song I want to hear - maybe they need to do a deluxe version...

According to their facebook page, if you order the CD it should be released in time for Christmas
track listing:
Side One
Burn It Down
Geno
Seven Days Is To Long
I Couldn't Dub It If I Tried
Side Two
There There My Dear
Because of You
Jackie Wilson Said
Come On Dubleen
Bonus tracks (CD & Digital only)
Because of You (organ version)
Seven Days Is To Long (instrumental)
A little disappointing that there are only 10 tracks on the album (only 8 if you do not include the bonus tracks) unfortunately this is a common theme on the Phoenix City All-Stars albums.

Got my copy today, just giving it first play now.
Didn't realise the pre order CDs were limited edition too, mines number 13 of 100.
Very neat little package, The CD looks like a vinyl, I don't think I have another like that, pictures of them on their facebook page if you scroll down a bit
https://www.facebook.com/PhoenixCityAllStars
Total running time is only 32 minutes, which is a bit of a downside (especially as this includes 2 bonus tracks) but not unusual for them. _________________ Bernie Rhodes Knows - Dont Argue |

Mine turned up today as well. Didnt realise it was a limited edition for pre orders either. Great little package, love the long player look of the cd. _________________ The past is our knowledge, the present our mistake and the future we always leave too late. |

Has anyone got any updates on the VINYL release date? Just checked my PayPal account and noticed I paid for this in February 2015!
I'm guessing it didn't get launched at this years LISF. _________________ I won't dance in a club like this, 'cos all the girls are s#@%s and the beer tastes just like p@&s! |

I too am waiting for the vinyl of this, which I paid for when first announced early last year. Received the CD around christmas which was paid for in December. I will leave it a while yet unless someone confirms thay have received the vinyl.
What with The Beat LP which has yet to materialise too. I will not be shelling out for any more like this a year or more upfront. |

Anyone seen the vinyl yet?
The Happy People Records bandcamp site lists Skatisfaction and Searching For The Young Ska Rebels vinyl as shipping within one day so I guess stock is now available.
