A couple of pages in the new issue of Mojo magazine feature reminisces from Dammers, Panters and Davies. I think their quotes have all been taken from interviews by the author of a new book called "Lights Go Out, Walls Come Tumbling Down."
There's a nice photo of a very innocent looking J.D. in his skinhead days _________________ I got one art O'level it did nothing for me |

I haven't started this book yet, but it looks to be very good. It's all direct quotes from those involved, rather than someone trying to analyse the hell out of it.

It's interesting to see how some of those most involved with Red Wedge such as Billy Bragg never wavered from doing benefit shows and supporting The Labour Party.
But I remember in the 90s when Oasis got chummy with Tony Blair that Paul Weller said in an interview or 2 that he was done with championing causes and felt uneasy about his Red Wedge days.
I was pleased to see Weller signing up for "Concerts for Corbyn". Robert Wyatt is coming out of retirement to take part. I wonder if Jerry will get involved?
