To add to the versions of 'Stereotype' & 'You're Wondering Now' I've done, here's an instrumental cover of The Selecter's 'Missing Words'.

Absolutely fantastic version, Imani. Nice song choice for that style too. You should do a proper recording of this

Thanks guys. Wink

Would love to record this and a few others - all I need to do is raise enough to record it on a quality grand piano.

This is from a gig I did last week at Impressions Gallery, Bradford. There's a 'Rock Against Racism' photography exhibition touring the country, and for its final date in Bradford, there was a night of live music. Songs: Ghost Town, Stand Down Margaret & Missing Words.

The event received a really good write-up in The Bradford Review, and they gave my performance a positive review.

I really like these versions, it's refreshing to hear someone really RE-interpreting these tunes as opposed to simply RE-hashing the originals. One shows guile and skill, the other is stale and boring. Hats off to you Imani, I love the Ghost Town version.

Thanks Wally & Paul.

Those songs are open to all kinds of interpretations, and that helps give them a different spin. More to come.

Keeping the instrumental piano theme - and in the same geographical ball-park as 2 tone, here's a short version of UB40's "The Piper Calls the Tune".

A version of Jose Feliciano's Rain (Listen To The Pouring Rain), a hit for Bruce Ruffin on Trojan Records in 1972, also covered by Madness on The Danger Men album.

Another cover, but with me singing head back on. Just started playing Katy Perry's 'Chained To The Rhythm', done in my own style.
