Encore gets a positive review in the new issue of Uncut and there's a small interview with Terry.
The reviewer says it's good but that you can't help thinking if Jerry was involved it would be really great.
They think it sounds a bit like a missing album that was recorded after More Specials and before In The Studio.
Terry says in the interview that nothing would make him happier than if Jerry was back in the band.
The album isn't mentioned in the new Mojo - I'm sure it will be reviewed in the next issue.

I'm looking forward to the album. Maybe not with great excitement - I won't buy it until later in the year but again, 'intrigued' is the word.

It would be nice if Terry and Jerry could sort it out.

Iím more curious than intrigued. Iím certainly not on the pre-order list. The cover versions could be interesting, the interpretation of The Ten Commandments in particular. However, since the single/preview was crying out for Nevilleís vocal input, itís difficult to imagine how this missing element will stretch out to an entire album. Have a listen to the original version of Guns Fever/Bam Bam . Maybe Terry and Lynval have pulled this off. Only time will tell.

The Uncut reviewer believed Vote For Me was the best new song on the LP. (There are some spoken word things and covers but only 4 new songs).

I just read Tom Doyle's review in Q magazine he is even more enthusiatic and gives it 4 stars. The review ends with the words "More please"
