Gosh, those masks. I think I'll take my chances with the virus. Surprised

I love how people think that somehow some old scarf or handkerchief they have found in the bottom of their wardrobe, then store in the glove compartment of their car will offer protection against this virus.

There has been talk of the government insisting everyone wears a mask. Sadiq Khan says everyone using public transport should definitely wear a mask.
Everyone seems to agree that the best thing is to stay indoors and to wash your hands in hot warm water often and try to avoid touching your face (especially your lips).

Proper medical grade masks will help the person wearing from spreading the virus, but some stinking scarf will do more harm than good in stopping viruses of any kind. Every time I go to the supermarket it just looks like loads of people are about to rob the place

I have to admit if I was travelling on the London underground I would feel the need to wear a nuclear fallout suit and that just in normal times. It's like a human petri dish.

“Men [and women], it has been well said, think in herds; it will be seen that they go mad in herds, while they only recover their senses slowly, and one by one.”
― Charles MacKay, Extraordinary Popular Delusions & the Madness of Crowds, first published in 1841.

WOW! I don't know how you found "Six feet of sod" - it always seems funny as they still sell turf here labelled as sod which reminds me of the swear word in The U.K.

Here goes : -

Elvis Presley "Stay Away"
Al Green "Tired Of Being Alone"
Eric Carmen "All By Myself"
Gilbert O'Sullivan "Alone Again (Naturally)"

Loretta Lynn wrote the song especially for viral lockdowns. Innovative.
