Ali Campbell is teaming up with Bill Curbishley, producer of Tommy and Quadrophenia to make a film about his side of the UB40 story apparently. _________________ The past is our knowledge, the present our mistake and the future we always leave too late. |

I'm sure they put on crowd pleasing live shows but has anyone member of UB40 released any great records in the last 20 years or so? I just felt they ran out of ideas a long time ago and don't have anything left to say _________________ I got one art O'level it did nothing for me |

That just bought sums it up.
Present Arms is one of the great albums of that era, but it was downhill from there. And at a very alarming rate. _________________ Richard Eddington is innocent.

I love this song, 'Don't Break My Heart' which is from the mid 80s

From the 2nd Labour of Love album (from 89) I like their versions of Wear You To the Ball.
But from 1990 onward.....? _________________ I got one art O'level it did nothing for me |

I liked Signing Off, Present arms and The first Labour of love album. There are a few tracks on their other albums that stand out, but they have recorded some right crap over recent years. _________________ The past is our knowledge, the present our mistake and the future we always leave too late. |
