Just come across this compilation due for release in February

Captain Mod released a double CD package many years ago called 100% British Ska which contains most tracks which are on this release. Some of them are very good and others have remained unheard of for a reason...

The Kim Wilde track is just ska by numbers

I've got the Captain Mod 100% Ska & Mod compilations, I started searching the tracks on this new compilation, and found there was over a dozen tracks I didn't have before I got to the end of checking disc two, so decided at that point it was worth a purchase for me.

With all the compilations gathered over the years, it does get to a point were they aren't worth buying just for a few new tracks, but I think I should be getting over 20 new tracks out of this one, so am happy with that Very Happy

With a bit of luck, there'll be a nugget or two amongst them

I've got the rimshots track, I'm not expecting a general high standard amongst the tracks that are new to me, but usually you do find something on these types of compilations that lead into looking into band a bit more.

So hopefully there will be the odd hidden gem

l will be getting this.lve got a fair few of the tracks,but think there are at least 15 l dont own, so worth it l think.
