Everybody Knows is the better one of the two.

It's from the album 'I'm Your Man' which is one of my favourite Laughing Leonard Cohen records.

Great version of Everybody Knows. Suits Terry's voice.

Will be interesting to hear the full album.

Dull, lifeless and uninspired.

Leonard Cohen is not an easy artist to cover. Half the appeal is his unique voice. It's a gamble for anyone to cover one of his songs. Terry and Co have fell on their arse with this attempt.

John Cale and others have recorded versions of Hallelujah that were better than Len's original. I am intrigued to discover if fans of the specials who love to dance to songs like Monkey Man will make of these covers

Polite applause at best, but the words lead and balloon spring to mind.

Really, it's more cerebral, sit down and listen than dance material. Not that I'd expect them to just knock out formulaic stuff that sounds like their debut album either.

From what I can make out the 'Chalk' in Brighton is promoted for its large dancefloor. So will they run through the 'new material' first while everyone is quenching their thirst before getting down to business?
